The hotel is clean, modern and new. The location is good, very close to Metro station which is just 2 stops away from city centre.
The aircondition in our room was broken on the second night. We informed the hotel the next day and was told that it would be fixed. The third night, the aircondition was still not working !! We slept in the heat for 2 nights! We asked if they had a fan we could use but there was none. The receptionist said "Sorry, nothing we can do"! We were quite disappointed with the facility and problem management of this hotel.
I stayed here for 3 nights with some friends. We found the reception staff very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and well designed. The location of the hotel was also good, about 5 mins walk to the metro station. The breakfast was ok for the price.
The check in lady was fantastic and provided us with detailed tourist information and tips. She was more than helpful. Nice new clean rooms.
No tea or coffee in the room
New, confortable, well-decorated rooms. Good value for the money.
Poor breakfast. Not very close to the centre. No internet access.
We thought that the hotel was great. It was a new (only a month old during our visit), very clean and quiet hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful - all of them spoke good English. We had a really great time there and we recommend it to everyone without hesitation.
The breakfast (included in the price) was not very varied or of good quality. Everyday the same was served and we think the hotel might consider changing the supplier of meat and cheese (the croissants, however, were great!).
Think this is very convenient location for tourists visiting Lisbon. Only a 2-min walk to metro which then takes you everywhere.........or links to buses/trams, Staff friendly & helpful. Very modern facilities & comfort compared to hotels in Baixa/Alfama where you are paying for location & "character". Some of the "character" in those locations is over-rated!
In-room hotel air conditioning needs to be colder
Although it was only for one night, the hotel room did indeed look "Lux". Our stay was enjoyable, the staff was nice and helpful to all of our questions.
Really nice hotel, cosy modern rooms, about 30 min walk down to centre or you can use metro, Anjos station about 5 min away, Would definitely stay here again, great value for money
One of the staff members, the young woman who works the evening shift (whose name I believe is Sybella), was outstanding. We had some trouble with our credit card, and she went out of her way to help us make contact with our U.S. bank and try to work through the problem.
The other staff were not so accommodating. We asked to have a taxi waiting for us at 6:20am and the staff member at the desk did not call for a taxi till we arrived downstairs at 6:15; therefore the taxi didn't arrive till 6:45.
They lied about parking (no parking in vicinity, no wfi internet
Convenient location, reasonable price, nice modern design but some things not very functional (closet narrow, glass shower door didn't seal, minimal storage space, only a desk chair).
Reserved a smoking room with balcony. On arrival desk clerk said it was non-smoking, then said smoking alright with the balcony. Then put us in a room with no balcony. Left wake up call to catch international flight but they never called us. Gave us a bill for 320 Euros mostly for 55 Euro calls we did not make since we had a cell phone for that. Looked like a rip-off.
We got an amazingly good rate on the room and loved everything about our stay there. The room was really upscale and modern but still fit in with the feel of being in Lisbon. The view from the balcony was a really nice bonus.
The hotel is brand, spanking new, modern and beautifully designed. It seems far classier than the price charged to me (60 euros), with modern bathroom and room and a feeling of luxury, although the room is small. There are some catches though. See below.
a)The location is strange, probably oriented to business travelers as it is on the path to the airport, and a quick and cheap 15 min. Or so drive. You can walk to Rossio in about 20 minutes, as the desk clerk defensively pointed out, although through a confusing circle of streets and slightly (not seriously) dubious neighborhood. So, while not as poorly located as it first appears this is not where a tourist likely would prefer to be for more than a night or two. There are no taxi ranks, few good restaurants nearby. Choose your trade-offs, as it is nicely done for the price. B) hotel is poorly staffed. I asked desk clerk to send someone up to deal with a problem at 9:00 P.M. and she said she was the only person in the hotel. C) all rooms are equipped with radios that come from speakers in the ceiling and the hallways plays music when when anyone steps into them. This could mean someone comes back at 1:00 A.M. and if you're a light sleeper, you might awake from the hallway music. I was bedeviled by music coming from somewhere else--perhaps a neighboring room? Perhaps left on my an occupant no longer there? The clerk could only call around and try to figure it out since there is no staff. D) breakfast is ok but minimal, nothing hot. Cold cuts, cereal, yogurt, coffee machine.
Location and room decor
I can recommend this hotel, but do not accept one of the rooms in the basement floors near the breakfast room.
Room was really damp, staff were unfriendly.
